I just don't know how he will be able to keep that enclosure 30 - 40 degrees warmer then the outside temp.

I agree, Lunarose, I am South of Ohio and wouldn't even try it with no electricity. It's gonna get cold soon. Tonight in Kentucky it is 26 degrees. Better not to fight nature? Nature always wins....
