Sorry for the short post let me explain to the best of my ability.

Me and my best friend were just doing the normal thing smoking as we usually do every 2 hours or so. We were sitting at a place we've been going to for years smoking and my friend and I are just hanging out, in the middle of doing waterfalls.. On the 5th hit, I look over and there is a sheriff car pulled up extremely close. My buddy runs because we've previously discussed what we'd do.. [ This is the 2nd time we have gotten caught and only 2 times in the PAST 4 months or so.. We've been smoking for 5+ years ]. My ankle is messed up and I didn't have anything on me, so I stayed put. The sheriff told me to get on the ground so I did obviously I wasen't trying to fight you know, and my buddy took off. The sheriff got on top of me like he really didn't have to but whatever I guess it made him feel safe lol... He said he could smell weed. Called for back up.. My friend meanwhile is running through a swampy area, hid the weed in a stump and threw his jacket off to throw off the dogs.. I told the cops I didn't know him and I came here to go for a walk.. Little did I know [ or even consider, stupidly ] the last officer who didn't press charges still made a note of it in the police database proving that I know him.. Somewhere in the midst of all this [ took 3 hours total] I got read my rights.. I told the cop I wasen't going to talk anymore because I realized I may of messed up [ as flawless as it seemed ].. I said take me to jail for the weekend but I'll be out Monday cause I didn't do anything.. They repedatly tried to get me to say whos car it was [ my friends car was parked out side ].. I refused to say I knew who it was, not sure why they kept insisting me say his name but I made sure not to.. Anyway his car got impounded, not sure if the K9 unit hit on his car or not but that would play a factor I believe.. :wtf:

5 cops came to his house looking for him , they are really trippin obviously have nothing to do.. It's a misdemeaner obscuring a police officer and they blew it WAY out of proportion.. After throughly searching me 3 times they let me go. My buddy ran through a whole hell of a lot of stuff and got pretty scratched up but they didn't find him.. He even said he thought that he was fucked the helicopter was right over him but he made it out.. We met back up, went back there through an alternate entrance and retrieved the weed a few hours ago with flash lights.. lol. It may be time for a break from smoking for awhile, for the first time since I we started..

Me and this dude hang out all day and smoke between 3/4 an ounce- an ounce every week... the past few years, only out of waterfalls.. [one of the most conservative ways we have found to smoke], and years before that we were doing what ever kid does and gets super stoned [wish i could reach that level again] and act stupid. Don't know what it's like to not be high but it definatly seems like it will be a good thing.. Gotten a little controlling I just hope we come back, but if we don't it will obviously be for the better..

If i got anything to say don't move to a town where the cops don't have shit to do, or they will put their effort into stupid shit like trying to catch a bunch of kids.. It's just funny with a helicopter and K9 units, they still didn't find him, against the odds he got SOMEWHAT of a break but it was more of a reality check for both of us.. man what a story! i would have stopped smoking for a sweet couple of months in such a case!

but i gotta like livin in houston area where cops are stretched very bad due to lack of manpower and more violent and serious crimes are just on high rates here , this is a bad thing, but works to my advantage in this regard

But me being the ultra conservative and overprotective person I am in means of dealing with law and risks of smoking, I have learned my lessons very early on that just ditch public place smoking... aint worth the hassle, not even in this town with all of its lack of manpower in police


glad u guys made it out tho, but your friend's gotta lay low for a good while since they have every information on him as u mentioned, his car, his personal data, his house, etc and when someone runs from police they automatically assume the guy has some kind of more serious issue on his history or somethin along those lines

I ran from police once in my life and in a similar situation but this was a foot/bicycle patrol guy in an apt complex right by a vast area of woods, passed 2 in the morning... i ran and jumped a wooden wall and i just didnt look back or think if he is after me or not, i just ran as fast as i could dropping all the contraband along the way, usually u start hearing sirens / dog barks or in your case a helicopter within a few minutes if they are serious about bustin ya

sounds like your friend may have some serious stuff on his record. why would you run, chances are in most places they catch you, then you get a whole extra charge for it. luckily he got away, though chances are had they found him, you would have been fine cause he stashed the weed, but still, other than that smart move i would not have ran personally.

Don't ya love when police go off like you're a terrorist with a bomb strapped to your chest for some bs charges.. Few weeks ago I was chillen in nyc. Not thinking about the area I am in (lots of undercover) I kinda flashed some herb while trying to find somehting in my pocket. Well I guess I had been in view of a dt because next thing I know some dumpy looking chick grabs my arm. So I'm like the fuck you touching me for? Next thing I know I am being thrown onto the cement sidewalk by two undercover officers who are yelling shit like "don't you fucking move or I'll break your neck" "get up against the car" get on the ground" get against the wall" (they had no idea what they wanted I guess lol.. They even tore my hate off to show my dreads and threw it on the ground. Only costed me a hour of my time, but still pissed me off pretty good.

So anyways, moral of my story is, in nyc possesion is a civil offense, basically a speeding ticket is going to screw you over harder and cost you more. SO for this civil offense I got my body all fucked upp by being slammed onto the concrete... Was great there was like old men in buisness suits and just normal people gathering around going off on the officers for as one bystander put it "molesting people int he middle of the street" and the cops are just telling the surrounding taxpayers shit like "fuck you" yeah fuck you buddy" fuck off"
