Forums exist largely for advice, which is what I created the thread for. Every doc I've called all say they'll stick by you - what better way to research what the docs will actually do than to ask existing patients online? :wtf:

The price of the rec, to me, isn't nearly as important as the peace of mind knowing it will hold up in court. It's difficult to discern which docs on the NORML site will and won't hold up. Searching these forums, the marijuana.com and 420magazine.com forums haven't warranted any solid doc recommendations either. I've got all of my medical records ready to go to visit a doctor, I just want to make sure I'm visiting the most legitimate doctor I can find.

So far, MediCann and Pacific Support Services both seem rather... eager... to give recommendations.
Neko150 Reviewed by Neko150 on . Finding a reliable doc - who will stand by you in court? Hi all, I've read so much on docs in So. Cal who will write you a rec with little to no proof/documentation of your existing health condition, which many people get excited about, not realizing that if they're ever in serious trouble with the law they could be left holding a worthless piece of paper with no physician back-up. How does one go about finding a doctor who will write a recommendation - and who will stand by his/her patients in court? I've heard conflicting stories about MediCann Rating: 5
