Dude, I was busted in Maryland at a little place called Frostburg. This douche ratted me out (he could smell it coming in from the window). I was at a sierra club meeting (go figure) and my brother called me up really upset saying that cops had come and found out I had smoked. Needless to say, I was freaking out. No one was arrested, but they wanted me to stop by the police station. I did and they basically asked if it was mine and wrote me a ticket for the alcohol I had as well (not the weed). My brother and I were charged with fifteen counts of paraphenllia (they counted incense sticks and lighters) and I had an quarter of mid and less then an eighth of good weed, my bro had a quarter of mid. For the next three weeks we both had this impending feeling of doom that seemed to fall down upon us as we awaited our "student judicial board" meeting.

At the meeting, they suspended my bro for winter break and suspended me for a year. Those judicial boards are a joke, btw. I met one of the people on that board (she wasn't at the meeting, though) and I witnessed her smoke. I thought it was so damned hypocritical of her to do that and be on the board at the same time. I don't know about the people at my board hearing, but I'm sure some of them at least tried it once. Fuckers. Lol, I'm being so negative toward them, but damn did that experience suck. Probably the best thing that ever happened to me, though, but still it was unjust. We had just gotten a new president, too, who was trying to save the schools "party school" image.

Oh, and as far as the real law was concerned? My bro and I ended up with no court cost, no fine whatsoever and only had to do something like 40 hours of community service.
