Ethylene to produce females

So you've obviously measured the amount of ethylene given off by a banana, and you know that it's not enough to have an effect.

I guess the scientists who performed the experiments were wrong.

whoa sorry I haven't checked yet, I'm just asking for anecdotal evidence

maybe an avocado or limes work better than bananas I haven't found anything about scientists and bananas on google yet

but I found something great that measures ethylene from some common fruits

Ethylene Gas C2H4

Turns out Apples produce more Ethylene than bananas!

maybe we need to create a sticky devoted to Ethylene hehe

Ethylene to produce females If ethylene is a known plant hormone to determine sex in cannabis couldn't I put a bunch of ethylene producing fruits near my plants and hope they all turn female (When they are from seed) that's probably not enough Ethylene what if you theoretically had a Ethylene spray and you sprayed your plants?
