Well, a little over a week and it will be over. We're going to hear more and more desperate attacks by the republicans - even silly shit like the debunked Acorn crap. Silly, Debunked, and not even related to Obama - but they will still keep screaming about it anyway 'cause they want to win and they don't care how it happens. Those smart enough to look into it aren't going to vote for McCain anyway - they are just counting on the ignorant and lazy vote.

Now for the good news: With less than a week to go, Obama is ahead with double digit leads. Real Clear Politics electoral map as of today: Obama has 259 SOLID electoral votes to McCain's 137. When you count both solid and leaning, Obama has 306 to McCain's 160. There are 72 tossups. Which means that if McCain wins ALL of the tossup states.... He still loses, and America still wins.

As the neo-cons get more and more desperate, realizing that they are on a sinking ship, we're going to hear ever more venomous propaganda from them. That's fine, because the public at large is watching and the worse they get the more people turn away in disgust.

So in the mean time, don't get upset by it! Be glad that they keep trying to spread lies, keep trying to slander, keep trying to fire up racist hate, keep trying to fire up religious ignorance (directed at someone who shares their faith even), 'cause the longer they keep at it the more people will realize just what the far right really represents, and the more America will come together to really work for a better future for our nation. Hell, it's like lifting up a rock and seeing what kind of creatures have been hiding under it - let the redneck racist pricks spew hate in front of TV cameras all they want, it will serve as a wakeup call for a country in need of change.

Here's to the next eight years and beyond.

On this side of the computer screen I can't see if a member is black, white, pink, purple or whatever. I had a member in the past send me an e-mail stating that his/her post was alright because they were of that race. How the hell are we suppose to tell from this end?

Taking ANY group of people in general and calling them lazy fuckers won't fly in here....pretty clear with the guidelines.
