Does anyone know whats wrong with my girls?

Hello everyone,

I've posted some pictures of my plants - they seem to have a problem!!

My set up is as follows:

5 plants under a 600 watt HPS (new)
All in soil
approx 5/6 weeks into flower (they were a variety of purchased seeds - a happy mix so to speek!!) They all look different as well.
They were orginally vegged outside, in the bank, until they revealed their true sexuality & were then potted up & put under the light - have recently harvested the first 4 plants & they didn't have any problems during their flowering cycle - the buds look great.... can't wait to try them!

But i have 3 plants that look terrible.... however, i digress.... they have been getting B'Cuzz nutes for soil - i've been erring on the side of caution though as didn't want nute burn.

I recently changed my water source, originally just watering from the tap, after a 24hr standing period but about 4 weeks ago i started using water from the water-but - do people here think that could be the problem??

The plants started to look sick about 4weeks ago & since that time i've tried giving more nutes, then less nutes & more recently no nutes.

Since coming here i've discovered i need to know my ph level, which i don't at present but will remedy that asap & post the levels once i have them.

with one of the plants i was able to re-pot it into a larger pot & i notice that the ball root was extremely wet - sodden almost. If all of the others are in a similar condition, ie. wet through, could that be the problem?

Sick plant 1 (pic1)- theorectically has about 2 weeks left to go - its gone a yellow/purple colour, lost a lot of leaves & at the very top of the plant has strange shaped leaves without many pistilles.
Sick plant 2 (pic2)- Leaves curled under, small leaves, lots of yellowing/purple colour again
Sick Plant 3 (pic3)- Same as sick plant 1
Long Tall Sally (pict4&5)- lovely isn't she?? far too big for my grow room but she just wouldn't stop growing.....

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated

Is a water-butt like a cistern? Rain water? That's your problem. You're in UK? Industrial coal-burning leads to acid rain, rainwater has no minerals to buffer it back in range, your lime in the soil gets used up, your plants get sick and die.
The up side is you are cloe to harvest. The down side is they are pretty bad. Go back to tap water. Then test your runoff pH and adjust the water so that when you water, the runoff comes out 6.7. There's a sticky abotu flushing at the top of problems.

That plant shows classic sour soil and rootbound symptoms.

thanks for your response Stinkyattic, i thought i was doing a good thing using fresh rain water..... ooops. Poor plants i feel a right meany - Defo lesson learnt though.

I reverted back to tap water yesterday after reading lots of advice from off this forum hopefully they'll perk up - although was wondering whether to cull the ropey ones & just concentrate on the 3 that are ok? I'll flush them through first and see what happens over the next few days, i'm sure they'll be happier once i've done that.

Thanks so much for your help - can't bear the thought i've nearly killed them off - was only trying to be enviromentally green!!!
