Question About Shock
hi just a quick question, my plants only have 5 days left before they are 8 weeks old but many of the bottom buds have turned 100% golden brown and tops seem almost done too. If i chopped off the lower buds would it shock the plants or effect the end results of the remaining top buds? i know its only 5 days to wait but from earlier reading it says never let the buds go past 80% golden brown so i thought i'd ask you guys and gals here.
the pic in my avatar are from the plants im growing now but maybe i should post a better pic of the lower buds concerned? i just dont want to ruin my crop. thankssirruler Reviewed by sirruler on . Question About Shock
8 weeks from seed or 8 weeks from start of flower?
Bottom buds, removed, don't really harm the plant. IF they are already ripe, go ahead and take them. It's the removal of dominant shoots and buds that confuses plants the most.
Your avatar pic looks great, nice work!

Question About Shock
thanks stinkyattic they are 7 weeks and 2 days into flowering. they were started from clones, vedged for 3 weeks until they were 12 inches high then flowered. they did hermie on me a little but it didnt seem to effect the bud size much as you can see. i will remove some of those bottom buds then because they look finnished to me and i see no white hairs on them at all now.
