    Plant trouble - please help

I've attached some pictures here in hopes of getting some advice. I've noticed some yellowing on the leafs and now I have this strange, red/purple going on with the stems. I posted the yellowing pics in another thread and I'm not having much luck...where is stinkyattic when I need some advice!?

found this info at rollitup.org in their grow FAQ for red or purpling stems....
    5) Leaves are dark green or red/purple. Stems and petioles may have purple & red on them. Leaves may turn yellow or curl under. Leaf may drop easily. Growth may be slow and leaves may be small. >> Phosphorus(P) deficiency.

    I do hope this helps

Oh wow, so no need for panic then? They do seem healthy other than those things. I'll just let it ride for a week or so and play it by ear rather than change what I have going on at the time.

Have you been spraying the plant with something, or splashing fert solution on the leaves? I see salty crust. Also variegation; this can be either natural or caused by a virus.
Keep an eye on them to see if their growth is still vigorous, and fill out the troubleshooting form to give us more info on your setup.

There's a troubleshooting form? I've lurked around this forum like crazy and haven't see that. I'll go find it and fill it out. Thanks

Yes, the leaves were sprayed with some sparkling water on two occasions.

    Ahhh!
None of that , now! Sparkling mineral drinking water has sodium (bad for plants) and carbonic acid (not good either) and can actually leach nutrients right out of the leaf. That is called 'reverse foliar feeding'.
    That explains paleness and crust.

    Indoor

    Soil

    Miracle grow all purpose soil

this week (for the first time) I added some worm poop to soil and some Miracle Grow Plant food (10-30-15)

Water is well water, filtered. Ph is just below 7

Lights are about 7 inches from tops of plant

Lights are exactly the same as Bodom Children Of's in the Rubbermaid growbox. I have a LITTLE more room but for the most part, mine is identical: Cannabis.com Forums Message Boards - Medical Marijuana, Cannabis Club, Dispensary, News

    Plant is 3 weeks old

    temp is between 71 and 73 f

    lots of ventilation

REally, they look like there is nothing significantly wrong. If your MG soil were causing problems, you would see tip burn.
Filtered water is not necessary, don't worry abotu that. If it is SOFTENED, that is another issue. But normally, water out of the tap is fine. If your well water is alredy quite soft, you might need to addcalmag plus to it. But you will see evidence of Ca deficiency if that is the case.

Cool, thanks! I'll toss the sparkling water then. Yes my well water is filtered in the pump-house. Short of dipping it out of the well itself, I just use this pre-filtered water from the tap. I did use distilled at first but backed off of that after reading some threads here.

you've been a great help. I'll keep you posted!
