My husband passed away 2 weeks ago at the age of 47, we were in the middle of a grow at the 6th week, right now I am getting ready to transplant the rooted clones into larger rockwool cubes but have no idea where to start.( so much for all the people that tell you if there is anything I can do to help you....) Can someone please help me? I want to finish what my husband started. I would want him to be proud of me. Thank you

WElcome Nitro, and I'm sorry to hear of your husbands' passing. We'll get your plants sorted out right.

First, you should soak the larger RW cubes in water that you have adjusted the pH to right around 6.0 and leave them soaking, adding more pH down if necessary, until the pH remains stable- swish them around to make sure that all the blocks are getting well soaked. Then as you need them, remove them from the soaking solution, rinse, and SHAKE OUT well.

I'm going to move this to Hydroponics where more growers will see it and help you. Why don't you describe your system as best you can, and post up pictures of the setup and plants if you can.

    See you in Grow!

I would not soak it in your res juice because you don't want to put the plants in danger. You got a big rubbermaid tub or something? Those work real well for prepping hydro media.
