PS thanks for the update on the HPS, will lower it :P
When you were talking about caramelicious bud porn were you talking to me? Hahaha sorry I haven't stopped by in a while I have been really really busy. Lets just say I am putting my babes into overdrive (literally with advanced nutrients) and it is fucking resinous and sticky like Velcro. I will give you some pics of the finished product here in a couple weeks and I will post them in this thread. Yours look really really good by the way, you are keeping them under control...mine is pushing 45 inches....
smoothsmoke Reviewed by smoothsmoke on . Little Carmalicious and Random Plants My bf ordered 10 carmalicious seeds from AMS.com and got 20 random seeds extra. Order arrived as planned ;) Now he has one random and 4 carma growing, and i got to pick 3 random seeds to grow myself (i first put the ones that i thought looked the best in one group and then picked 3 very different looking seeds from that) :D They are all growing at a similar phase, and we repotted as many as space allowed, into a mixture of coco and normal soil. We just have them in the closet now, but we are Rating: 5

Yea you probably do want them to get a little but taller. And at the stage where you are pretty much at, mine seemed to have stopped growing taller and just started putting on bud mass. But honestly, you will still get a good amount out of those babies seeing how healthy they are. God caramelicious is an awesome strain!
I would say predicting the yield is pretty much like predicting a close basketball game at halftime, that shit can go either way. But you have kept yours pretty damn healthy so I think you should get at least an oz out of each, if not two. The best way to figure that is 1/2 gram per watt of light, that is pretty much the best estimate for hps lights. I would say that it will be closer to two oz if they are still getting an inch taller a day, and if they are not getting much taller then closer to 1 oz per plant.
As for pruning, I would not cut off any of the upper fan leaves because there is a lot of nutes going into those babies and when you are on the flush the buds will swell bigger if you leave them on. However that said, I would cut off all branches (fan leaves and budding branches) on the bottom 6 inches of your plants to promote bigger buds on top.

Well there is my high essay for you, I actually just clipped off some of the bottom branch nugs and just smoked them

And P.S. just for a little fine tuning I would give them a flush because the leaves look a little bit ridged, but other than that looks like a perfect pair of plants!

Thanks for the heads up on the lower branches :P I got a 250W envirolite for the lower branches but it doesnt seem to be cutting it (you can see the light on one of the picture) but i am gonna prune a few of em off now then.
BTW are your producing any crystals yet? Mine are just forming buds, and lots of them to.
PS. They stretched another extra 2 inches during the nighttime :P Its incredible to watch these babies grow, I've never dreamed of anything that could grow this fast! And this is my first grow (except for one male plant) and i couldnt be more happy about the strain i chose.
Will try to be more active about posting pics.

Oh hell yea, you are so set if it stretched another two inches and it hasn't produced resin yet...your buds are going to be so bomb! Caramelicious is a pretty damn resinous strain, and it grows like a bamboo-tree/bush. You are going to see a lot of progress in the next couple of weeks I am thinking.... Keep it up!

Oh and to answer your question about mine producing resin...it is damn sticky now! It looks to me like you are only a few weeks behind mine so get ready for monsters in your closet! Haha and I showed my buddy your pics and he complimented them and said they look like mine babes a few weeks ago ;p

A small update here, added a 10UVB lamp in my grow room for some extra crystals, the results could be seen the next day! The next day a few of the leaves were literally swarming with small crystals. (the plant had none)
I am running them full power now, cheating a little on the nute table (adding a little more than I should :P) and they seem to be responding fine. They stretched to 70 CM now and I can fairly say that even though they are in late flowering they are still stretching 1-3 CM a day. I've been trimming them ferociously lately due to lack of space and light not reaching lower bud nodes.
The plant didn't show any stunted growth pattern and it stretched 3 CM that same night so i can fairly say that i got lucky on what leaves to take away
I would love some second opinion though, here are a few pictures and please don't hesitate to point out mistakes in pruning :P (you can just compare these pictures to the ones I sent in a few days back)

PS. Zoom in on pic 5, looks really delicious :P

Try not to prune after flowering is established...You want as little stress as possible to make sure you avoid the dreaded "H" word...
