Little Carmalicious and Random Plants
My bf ordered 10 carmalicious seeds from AMS.com and got 20 random seeds extra. Order arrived as planned
Now he has one random and 4 carma growing, and i got to pick 3 random seeds to grow myself (i first put the ones that i thought looked the best in one group and then picked 3 very different looking seeds from that)
They are all growing at a similar phase, and we repotted as many as space allowed, into a mixture of coco and normal soil. We just have them in the closet now, but we are making a better grow-room for them.
As it is now, for lighting we got Blue envirolite 200w, and we're gonna add a Red envirolite 200w in the next days (if we get to flowering we will be using 2 red ones, 200w and 250w.) When watering we use the GHE nutrition system, that we got in a store that also sells hydroponic systems (they pretend they are selling all this expensive plant stuff for tomato growing)
I marked his plants with A B C D E, and mine with 1 2 3 (only B C D E are carmas). I keep a "diary" of mine but he doesnt, so when i'm taking pictures of mine i also take pictures of his to see the progress.
SO we're just hoping they don't turn male, like our first try did (he was a beauty though).
I'll leave some pictured of them, one is from 4 days ago ( the seedling) and rest is from today (first pic is of that same seedlingnalani Reviewed by nalani on . Best of luck!
I'm glad to see someone growing Carmalicious! I've never ordered seeds, but my browser seems to find it's way over to A.M.S. on a regular basis to gaze at the porno-shot and re-read the description of that strain. I'll be checking back on this grow!!!-------------------------------------------------

Thank you Kowalski
Today we bought some materials to make the new grow room. It's gonna be behind a little bathroom there. We also bought a fan to get the hot air out, and it won't look suspicious on a bathroom wall
Then we put up the new lamp thingy (i don't know what its called in english) that we got from a friend that couldn't grow anymore, and a humidifyer (?(the round thing at the bottom of the picture, it blows out cold steam))

Some update.. if anyones interested.. if not then i like boasting about them here anyways since i can't tell anyone else
We got them in a hyproponic system and they seem to be liking it.
I think they are growing pretty slow, but maybe i'm just being impatient  anyone has any tips on getting them to grow faster. Although the plan is to let them grow until we can take a clone and then put them right into flowering.
Pictures are of plant B (carmalicious) growing over 11 days

Boast Away! I'm very interested in seeing a Caramelicious grow and I'm sure plenty of other people on the board are as well :-)
If I ever have the expendable cash and a better grow space, I definitely want to order seeds for this strain - if it does indeed live up to the mouth watering description on the page :-)
A few questions come to mind about your planting medium and watering schedule, but I've never played with Coco so I'll just watch for now. Keep up the good work, and the updates!-------------------------------------------------

No watering schedule, we just keep the flow all day and all night. Getting annoyed though from the watering things i put in the soil since its difficult to tell if its watering or not and sometimes they're just watering a few drops at a time. Seems to have happened to 2 of the plants and they had started looking a bit yellow

I'm hoping someone with experience using Coco will chime in here, but I'm wondering if these plant's aren't being over-watered. You're using a Coco/Soil mix right? If the roots are kept constantly saturated they may not get enough oxygen with this constant yet slow flow of water/nutrients. It seems like most of the Coco grows I've read water once each day, giving the medium enough time to dry sufficiently between waterings. If yours is Coco with soil mixed in, then it is going to hold moisture longer. Again, I have no experience with this medium, I've only done Ebb&Flow with Rockwool and Pea gravel and organic soil grow - in soil I water around once a week.
Again, I've never played with this stuff so I'm just extrapolating from what I've read - hopefully someone else will chime in here.-------------------------------------------------

Theres no normal soil mixed with the coco now. We bought more coco and repotted into that, after washing the soil of them.

I did a bit of googling for you:
From Gardenscure:
"Coco is a bit dirty for recirculating. It only needs water once every two/three days in veg and once a day in flower. Mix the coco 60/40 with perlite and add an inch of clay balls to the bottom of the pot for best results."
From Canna Nation:
"im a coco grower and find that a weekly feed is more than enough, others feed them more often than that, but imo a weekly feed is all thats needed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/peace.gif) i usually feed once a week, wait 2-3 days for the pot to dry out and then give them plain, pH adjusted water and they do fine"
Don't drown your babies - you don't want the medium to be constantly saturated - actually you should wait until it is just about dry before watering. You can watch the plants to see when they need water - if they start to droop/wilt a bit, they're thirsty - don't worry it won't hurt them. They'll perk back up VERY quickly (within an hour or so) as soon as you water them. I would suggest ditching the watering system for now, water by hand until you know how often they need to be watered and then set your system up on a timer.
Constantly wet roots will result in root rot, plant death, and a slimy mess.-------------------------------------------------

Thanks alot, thats some really usefull info
The lady in the store that sold this to us said that it needs to be constantly wet since the coco itself has no nuts in them and as soon as the pot dries out the plants start wilting/dying. So putting the plants on a timer and feed them once a day with the hydro will give better results? (still in veg right now but every 3 days just sounds so drastic since coco gets try pretty quickly)
Btw i'll post some pics soon, they are starting to look really handsome
