I have to admit that? I don't think so. Has Joe the Plumber made any difference whatsoever? I haven't seen any evidence of that at all.

Seems to me the McCain campaign is just wasting its time on trivial things. Sarah Palin spent several days focusing on her fabulously expensive wardrobe. And it wasn't the "media elite" focusing on it --- she kept bringing it up herself in her speaches! I thought they wanted that to die out, so why keep it alive for a few more days?

Then once they got past that, they started dragging Joe the Plumber around on the trail with them --- I saw footage of one rally in which Joe the Plumber was expounding on any and all policy subjects, like anyone cares what Joe the Plumber thinks about Middle East foreign policy! Maybe McCain should propose him as Secretary of State! Ha ha! He should definitely get a cabinet position!

Last night Obama had Bill Clinton join him for a rally in front of about 10 million supporters. Bill Clinton is the kind of campaigner who can make a difference for your camapign and that many fired up Florida supporters can make a difference in a state like Florida.

In contrast, John McCain can't even get Joe the Plumber to show up for a rally!
