I'm not trying to defend bad etiquette but everyone has their own idea of etiquette. I think it's rude when people eat fast, or someone doesn't give up their for the elderly or doesn't say please and thank you. I could go on and on. I'm not exactly Mr. Manners but I have a very uptight view of basic etiquette. I'm a young guy and I view many older people who look like they haven't learned basic table manners or social etiquette. Should I just look down upon them because they are ignorant? I'm happy you pointed that fact out to them because it's important to be aware of the effect cussing causes your view on others, it makes you sound dumb and ignorant but should you be so quick to pass on judgement and degrade someone in your own eyes without understanding where they are coming from?
