    Spiritually drained...

Hey everybody. Eh most of you probably don't know me but I'm a very strongly spiritual person.

    On to my story.

I got caught up in living the past few months, started skipping my meditation and training...now I'm not only drained, but when I try to get back in to it, I just don't feel it the way I used to.

It makes me cry here and there...*sniff*

Do you lot have any suggestions on giving me a jump start?

Maybe try Chakra Balancing or Reiki? Or possibly even Crystal Therapy.

Keep the faith Jake! Sometimes we all stray from our spiritual path. Finding the way back is not always easy but it is definitely worth the journey!

My ability to sense energy has dulled drastically. So by jump start it's like getting myself back in tune.

Man... i may be wrong, but i think any learned skill is improved by exercising, and decreases with lack of it. So the way to get back your old proficiency in it is practicing it again.
The same happens with me with, for example, playing guitar. After one or two weeks of daily practice i can play really well. But if i stop, even if only for a couple of days, i lose a noticeable amount of the ability, and must exercise again to get the old level of skill. Of course the amount of work needed is not the same as it was the first time i played, cause some amount of skill remains longer with us, and thus is easier to get back the levels you already got once than reach them for the first time.
So i think the only thing that can help you is to sit and practice it again. It will take some time and effort until you reach your old levels, but surely the time and effort will be smaller than the effort you had to spend the first time you practiced it.

PS. Or something that occurred me right now... for me, weed helps a LOT to sense and control energy. So maybe if you do your exercises while high you may feel some difference.

One technique I've found to be useful in regulating energy and balancing and activating the Chakras is to spin. It's very simple, and it may sound silly to do, but give it a shot.

What you do is hold out your hand thumb facing outwards. Concentrate on that as you spin clockwise for thirty three times. Then stop and placing your feet firmly on the ground. Keep your eyes open as you allow the spinning to subside gradually. Then breath in and out a few times.

Simple and activates the chakras and balances them at the same time.

That just reminded me of a basic technique my therapist taught me last year. When she was with the Hopi Indians, she said there were always people passively moving their hands as if rubbing an invisible beach ball. She asked one of the elders, and he told her that motion was a way of gently training a person's sensitivity and energy manipulation skills. Basically, that motion creates a ball of energy with or without the will to do it, and if you do it long enough, you'll start to feel it pushing back.

Thanks for jogging my memory lol
