Glad to hear you're ironing it all out Mississippi...Good stuff that SuperThrive is but don't overdo it...No more than 1/4 tsp per gallon and don't use it when your flowering...

When I go to flower, I will switch out the molasses for the superthrive. 1 question about the cal-mag tho... other than the original treating the potting mix when I transplant, do I need to add more?? This stuff is in a dry sand/powder mix If I need to add more, do I mix it in the water/nute mix?? or do I add it dry to the soil in the pot?? or what???

I havn't any experience with cal-mag or garden lime...I use 1 TBS of dolomite lime per gallon of grow medium... I've heard of people adding dolomite lime to their water and working it into their grow medium/soil if they didn't put it in there in the first place but I don't see why you should have to ammend your soil again in any way if you buffered it properly to begin with...:stoned::smokin:

From what I have read, dolomite lime, cal-mag, and garden lime, are all the same thing. My 2 NCDG plants are better after adding the garden lime, but it seems like they are starting to go back to where they were... I am wondering if I need to add a little more. Is there a test to find out what and/or how much??

I guess you could work a little more lime into the soil if you think that's the problem..."Indoor Marijuana Horticulture"says a mag deficiency can be treated with 2 tsp of epson salts per gallon of water...Good luck friend...

Steve, your plants are burning, see the tips ? ... back off the nutes, use 1/2 doses, once a week ... DUMP the SuperThrive in the garbage where it belongs, probably the source of your burning (SuperThrive is helpful for rooting, and rooting only, otherwise kills plants) ... also, those type of pots are bad, they allow the plant to sit in water at the bottoms ... cannabis needs excellent drainage, above all else ... otherwise, good work, buddy

Thanx my friend... btw... I don't water enough to drain to the bottoms of the pots....and when it does, the bottoms get dumped so they are not sitting in excess water. Gotcha on the nutes... looks like I am gonna have to have 2 jugs of mixed nutes... one for the ultra haze, and one for the NCDG. I will post new pics in a bit.

FWIW, I am prolly gonna have to top the ultra haze....its much taller than the NCDG.... almost a 12 inch difference. I got plenty of my summer grow left so I am thinking that I may not even put this batch into flower until April. I want to see how big I can grow my babies....I dunno

At 6 weeks along, and having topped the Ultra haze, and am rooting the clone, everything is looking pretty good. Right now I am getting branches on branches on all 3 plants. In todays pic, on the right we have the Ultra Haze, and on the left, we have the NCDG. I am going to see just how big I can get these things to grow under lights. either way they are gonna be some serious bushes.

prolly not needed with the side lites as well as the top lights.... makes for bigger canope, and bigger canope is more efficient from shat Stinky has said in the past. I would really like to see the Ultra Haze get up to 4 1/2 ft tall bush like the last one did.
