    Ok,This has to stop...NOW!!!

As a 35 year smoker and a person who has done everything one can to change idiotic laws, This goes TOO Far!!

    "Cnn 10/17/08-
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AP) -- An investigator says authorities are looking for a "person of interest" in the nationwide search for a 6-year-old boy kidnapped from a Las Vegas home by men posing as police officers

A nationwide Amber Alert has been issued for Cole Puffinburger, 6, of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Las Vegas police Capt. Vincent Cannito wouldn't say Friday who police are looking for, or whether investigators think he's in southern Nevada or somewhere else.

Meanwhile, a nationwide Amber Alert remains in effect for the boy, Cole Puffinburger.

Cannito says Puffinburger's family were involved in the illegal drug trade.

He says the two Hispanic men who tied up the boy's mother and her boyfriend at their house Wednesday morning and abducted the boy were after "significant money and drugs."

Police aren't saying whether a ransom demand has been made.

"We've had a lot of tips," Las Vegas police Officer Bill Cassell said. "The frustrating thing is we have nothing new at this point."

Authorities said the boy's kidnapping from his home several miles northeast of downtown Wednesday morning was connected to a drug deal involving the child's family members.

Las Vegas Police Capt. Vincent Cannito said "significant money and drugs" were involved and the home was ransacked.

"This child witnessed that. This child was ripped from the home," he said.

Cannito would not say whether the family had been contacted about paying a ransom. Video Watch how the abduction may be connected to a drug 'burn' »

The boy is described as 3-foot-11 and 48 pounds, with blond hair, blue eyes and silver-framed glasses. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, a black shirt, and a black zip-up sweat shirt with white, black and blue stars.

Authorities said that the two men posing as police were Hispanic and that a third man was also believed to be involved.

One suspect is described as having black, shoulder-length, slicked-back hair. The man, in his early 30s, is about 5 feet 7 and 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans."

In today's world, we have nothing to fear. Besides one attack on the US, terrorism hasn't done SHIT to hurt us. All this talk about terror and homeland security is just a way of getting us to re-elect someone and not question them when they suspend our rights and spy on our cell phone calls.

I think heart disease kills more people a year in the US than terrorism has killed in 50 years. That money would be better spent on a disease that kills us regardless of who we are instead of defending us from a ragtag group of people halfway around the world who hate us because we didn't divide up their homeland the right way after WWII.

they hate us for more recent reasons than that:

"Muslims do not hate our freedom, but rather they hate our policies. The overwhelming majority voice their objections to what they see as one-sided support in favor of Israel and against Palestinian rights, and the long-standing, even increasing, support for what Muslims collectively see as tyrannies, most notably Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Pakistan and the Gulf states. Thus, when American public diplomacy talks about bringing democracy to Islamic societies, this is seen as no more than self-serving hypocrisy."

    pop quiz:
    who said that?

    a) Ralph Nader
    b) Barack Obama
    c) Ted Kennedy
    d) Nancy Pelosi
    e) the chairmen of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Policy, Ballistic Missile Defense Advisory Committee, and Defense Intelligence Agency Science and Technology Advisory Committee

    Hi All

    This is truly sad.

All in all I believe this less about secure borders and more about Meth, a disease that is tearing at the fabric of out great country.

But you must understand, I only get the information that is provided by the media.

Meth and other drug use is a much harder problem to cure than terrorism...

    Why?

There's no way you can ever erradicate the drug without doing a military sweep of every building in America, so the only way to get rid of it is get rid of the reasons people do it.

Parents need to start parenting and Weed needs to be legalized... Drug runners and dealers would go away thanks the the vanishing underground market.

Parents can't do much to stop their kids from doing drugs (I bet a lot of people on this site can attest to that), and legalizing weed would only make it less popular, and a good portion of those people who toke for the excitement of it will turn to what's left on the black market...

People who toke for the excitement of it shouldn't be toking to begin with, as they clearly have no idea what the herb is about.

I'm not arguing with you there. I'm saying those people would stop smoking ganja and probably move to something harder, which would only exacerbate the problem instead of solving it.

This kid was found alive yesterday. Police are still looking into the drug aspect of the case. At least the kid is safe now.
