so the main reason i joined this is to ask: how do you clean these?!?!

my partner used alcohol to clean it and it left some sort of white residue as she described. can anyone shed some light on this?!

u joined just for this?....wow:wtf: this doesnt deserve my time but....ppl use alcohol to clean most pipes and bongs, if theres white residue, rinse it lol other than that.........:wtf:

welcome to the forum, try adding salt to the rubbing alcohol, it helps with the cleaning:jointsmile:

haha yeah kidna a dumb reason to join but i'll stick around.

i told her to rinse it out with warm water but she says it's still hapenning. problem is she's about an hour away right now and i won't see her till probably next weekend.

it's a super nice pipe with the biggest bowl ever. it's sandblasted too, for a nice mat texture. i'm kinda jealous, even though I!!! bought it for her haha

acetone, pure acetone 100%, and salt, its safe dont worry, but it will probably dissolve whatever the residue maybe, it could just be minerals from the water at that persons house, use distilled water next time. And if it continues to remain there, then maybe something on the outside of the chamber, without realizing it you could have had some salt left on your hands that got on it and made it seem like it was on the inside. But if it wont come out, then i dont imagine it ever will, so go ahead and smoke out of it, it probably wont come up with the smoke, and if it does, well then you have a nice clean bong.

Using Rubbing Alcohol is good with salt, but what most people dont know, dumping all that alcohol down the drain can be bad for your pipes. If that alcohol sits on the joints and can eat away glue, and joint cement and can cause ur pipes to leak. So just have the water running when u pour your shit down the drain.

420 cleaner is good
also that orange kind.

Try rubbing alcohol and either kosher/rock/sea salt or epsom salts, in a double layer of baggies, shake until the liquid gets super dirty, rinse, repeat until clean, then rinse under warm tap water.

rinsing it out with coffee granuales is quite good because its an abrasive
