Wait until spring and plan an outdoor grow.
Do you have a space to grow indoors? A smoker and friends need more than what a small grow chamber will produce, especially if you are not keeping a mother plant, and one plant is likely to be male (~50% chance), so I'd never grow fewer than 4 unsexed from-seed plants.
