I have an innate talent and spending just the right amount of time at someones house. Ill stay and have a real good time, as soon as my special sense can pick up that ive been there a satisfying amount of time I move on.
Elis special tip: If you leave while in the midst of everyone having a good time or right after you've made everyone crack up, it always leaves a real positive impression, they'll try to invite you back real soon.
And yes on the opposite end of the spectrum is one of the worlds greatest pet peeves, those who never leave

I use to be like that during college, mainly because I lived a in real shitty dorm (read: rats and roaches everywhere) and never wanted to actually have to sleep there. HOWEVER, I would always have plenty of weed with me (not to mention a repertoire of amusing anecdotes and a massive CD collection) to make my near constant presence in my friends' homes pleasant and generally welcomed :stoned:.

It's very hard to tell sometimes. I dont have people over my place because its basically boring. My friend, however, has people at his house basically at all hours every day. That's because he has bomb buds, smokes out just about anyone who comes by just out politeness, has a Wii, xbox 360, PS2, dope surround sound, and what not. I'll spend 12 hours there and he doesnt seem to mind, I think he gets lonely sometimes. But yeah, sometimes I dunno if I should leave because he doesn't make much of a show of letting you know. I think a lot of people do that because they dont wanna seem rude.

Yeah I use to know somebody like that he always would have tons of people over you'd just call and say "i'm here" even if it was 8:30 in the morning [use to ditch a lot of school].. he'd wake up and roll up a blunt and start kickin it early on. I don't talk to him anymore a lot of shit went down but he was a chill dude.

Never be the first to arrive. Never be the last to leave. Words to live by baby.
When the stress burns my brain just like acid raindrops, Mary Jane is the only thing that makes the pain stop. I let the music take over my soul, body, and mind, to kick back, relax one time and you will find..
Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
