hey
it should be showing you something right now... usually shows after 1 week... look closely you should either see lil pistils or balls... females usually take longer to show than males.. so i guess its a good sign?
good luck!

thankyou mate
i thought they should've been showing something now,,but nothing.
they are meant to be feminized seeds so fingers crossed they will be.
it did look like they had little stems next to the leaf nodes,,but they turned out to be more leaves or new shoots,,not sure yet.
thanx again

From the research I've done it seems best to put them in a 24-36hr dark period before turning the lights on for flowering. It makes them show their sex in as early as 2 days into 12/12. Supposably the dark makes them think their dieing and they create pollen or flower depending on their sex, and its suppose to make the transition into flowering easier on them. Also, when the nodes are alternating instead of non alternating it shows the plant is maturing.

how long
My plants are from seeds produced by the last plants I grew.
One plant showed its sex after just 3 weeks of vegging under 18/6 light, while the other plant waited a couple extra weeks.
Neither plant had alternating nodes at the time of showing... So I guess that is dependent on the individual.
Those 2 hairlike growths on the main stem at each node are called "stipules". It is from behind these that your pre-flower sex indicators will pop out.
Just keep an eye on the stipules at the nodes near the top of the plant... They should be showing you what's what any time now
Hope ya get some girls!

hey dude, how old were they when you flipped to 12\12?
if they're not mature enough to reproduce, they will take
forever to show sex and, i believe they will be more likely
to be hermies.
put some pics up so the experts (lol, not me) can see what
you're talking about.
