Anyone use....
I am trying to get some nutes and needed some help. I was looking over the net and found 2 kits I was thinking of getting. I will only be growing a few plant at a time. 2-4 plant.
This kit is only 8oz and not sure how long that will last. I know I have heard about the names here and they are all good. Will it get me by for a whole cycle or maybe a few cycles? This kit is $14.95
Soil Kit includes one 8 oz. bottle of:
Pure Blend Pro Grow
Liquid Karma
Pure Blend Pro Soil
This is the 2nd kit. I havn't seen anything about this on the board. Has allot more stuff but is also 2x the price.$29.95
The Recipe for Success Starter Kit consists of B.C Bloom, B.C Boost, B.C Grow, Thrive Alive B-1 Red, Thrive Alive B-1 Green, Awesome Blossoms, Rootech Cloning Gel, MagiCal, SugarDaddy and ROOT 66.
Hope someone can help me with this. I need to get them ordered cuz I am on day 6 today of a grow I just started. I have a hydrow shop by me but I check them out online and thier prices are higher then others. Oh and I am also going to get a 2 or 4 oz bottle of superthrive. Not sure if I need any more then that.bigworm1922 Reviewed by bigworm1922 on . Anyone use.... I am trying to get some nutes and needed some help. I would go with the 10 pack, it has everything you will need except a salt leaching solution and ph adjusters.

oh yeah, the superthrive is very concentrated so make sure to only use
1 drop per gallon of water
good luck and have fun, if it ain't fun, why do it

So how long will that kit last? Just one cycle with 2 plants or longer?

If you are going with the mega-kit, it's likely a good idea to keep a detailed log and pay close attention to results. Were I a beginner, I'm not sure I'd want a million dilution rates, having to learn when to apply, knowing why to apply, what not to use if defeciency isn't indicated, which ones throw-off your ph, learning what nute toxicity looks like and how to correct any problems that you may create.
What I'm getting at is: too much shit isn't necessarily a good idea. But then again...I have a closet full of unusable, unnecessary, and downright foolish purchases I thought sounded "cool".
A simple 3-part system (Grow - Micro - Bloom) is a great springboard into learning the entire process, without information overload, plus you don't have as many additives to screw things up with.
The kit with 8oz bottles will last a while if only growing a couple of plants per cycle. I grow a bit more than that, and my quart bottles will last over six months.
