    unreliable caregivers

    Hey guys,
I am going through this problem,my caregiver recently stopped answrring his phone, and not returning calls or texts......or PM's.
I have the grow site,Would it be wrong for me to show up at the grow site?

I really dont want to,but I just need to know, whats up with this guy.....I know the crops are ready and everything,I have money to help him out with, and although I can move on,I kinda wanna hear it from him whether he is gonna be my caregiver or not.
He kept in touch with me before and we would meet up and he wuold let me knowthe progress and we'd shoot the breeze and all,he tells me when its gonna be ready and sends me pics and now,its like,I can see he has been online so I know he got my PM's......but,he dont respond.I dont understand, mostly cause I felt we were cool,we had a friendship, you know?
I am tempted to roll up there, the only address I have is the grow site. I just feel awkward showing up there, you know? But its been like almost 3 weeks since he has gotten back to me.

If he's your legal caretaker just show up. Its your product not his. But I imagine what is going on is he's selling to other people so his supply maybe low. I'd just go check up on your plants.
You should probably start growing your own. Its the best way.

What is the law in your state regarding the patient-caregiver relationship?
If your caregiver is profiting off your card and not even returning your calls, you have every right to revoke his right to use your card. Skeezy bastard. I wouldn't just show up because someone slimy enough to pull that shit might also be slimy enough to fuck with you. Tell him you need to have better communication if he is going to continue to use your card, and then give him a couple days to shape up.

Like a sleeping mastiff, a grower at his grow is a dangerous creature to surprise.

Thanks guys for the repiles,stinky...thats one of the reasons why I kinda didnt wanna go to the grow site, because I didnt want this to get out of hand or anything.Especially since I am not good at confronting people, lol
But yeah,I had to pay money to switch my info onto his card and stuff,so I did follow the rules and we agreed that I would help with the costs of setting up and things he needed,so I have kept what I need to give him on the side for when the time comes. the thought did cross my mind that he may be selling it,I hate having to buy from other people, its so expensive, its $75 for an 1/8 and I would much rather spend money to my caregiver than you know.
ButI think just like killer said, because I seen the plants, and he told me its just about to harvest and now he is just M.I.A. and Im SOL and JWF
Has anyone here ever had to revoke their card from a grower? How much does it cost?
Im leaving to Oregon in about 3 weeks,so I was thinking that if this doesnt work out to just leave it at that, but,I had my hopes up,all the time I been burning I never knew what strain or anything and when he was showing me pics and telling what kind of weed I was stoked.

Not for nothin', but I'd call and leave a message sayin' I was worried and would come to the grow site IF I didn't hear back in a day.

    This is harvest season.
Trimming is time and labor. (Also a lot of sticky fingered fun).:smokin:
Proper drying and curing takes time.
On the Kona side it's still a little early for full harvest, but there's always the obligitory "sacrificial limb".
The lame, the halt and the bugbitten to process.
So, your caregiver may be swamped.
Offer to help with the manicuring and you might get an invitation.

In short, your grower is busier than a dog with three balls to lick. Give 'em the benefit of the doubt rather than just "showing up"

    Jus' two big shiny pennies.

Thanks for the reply weezard,I would love to help out, but,he doesnt answer his phone or return messages or texts or even PM's. At first I was worried that he might have gotten into trouble and cant getto a phone, but,I know he has been online.
Im on Oahu and the weed here is getting too expensive. It would be cool if he called me back or textd me saying he is super busy,or the crop died,but.....he doesnt respond.
It did cross my mind to call and leave a message saying I was gonna go to the grow site,I dont really want to,butI am getting to the point where,I think I would drive down there,Im not looking for a free handout of herb or make trouble or anything.I just would like to know if he is gonna be able to provide me with my meds,if not,I would take the money I had kept to give him and by it off the street. But I dont wanna go and blow a couple hundred dollars only to have him call me and say "it's ready" and I have no money.

If you suspect abuse of your card, you should go to the issuing agency for information. I can't help any more than that- It's probably an issue that med states are just starting to learn how to deal with; as more people are getting cards, statistically, more people have the chance to abuse them.

sounds good, thanks stinky.I'll give him a few more days,I just PM'd him saying I was gonna stop by some time this weekend or next week.I also am gonna text him the same thing. If all fails,I'll just do what stinky said and leave him alone and just hit the street.

just an update of what has happened.

I PM'd him and told him that this was the last message I was gonna sendhim and that I had contacted our doctor(we have the same doctor) and asked to revoke his membership.I got a call from him the next day telling me he had some meds for me.So I went over and met up with him and he told me the crop got mold and spider mites and had to be cut early and there wasnt much.So I ended up getting what looks like(no scale) but it looks like maybe just over 1/8.I felt bad for him,you know.So I gave him some money, not alot since I am gonna need more money to buy some more because this wontlast me till I Move.
I am heading up tor Oregon in about a few weeks. But I am glad and grateful I was able to get some medicine.I was having the worst stomach pains from the prescription pills I was taking while waiting for this.
Thanks everyone for your advice and replies.
