I'm not sure they needed nutes just yet. It's usually better to give it to them slow in the start, roughly 1-2ml per litre probably every other watering, maybe even every 3rd watering (water, water feed) then building up to the 4ml/litre full dose. Though there are varying opinions on feeding schedules. The plants will "tell" you when they need something and then you get a feel for it.
I use BioBizz (Grow and Bloom) and I think they're good nutes.

The HPS may be a bit close but I think as long as your temps are OK that is probably unlikely to be the issue.

Also do you have any ventilation other than the 4" fan? Extraction/filtration? They like fresh air.

You might want to get a pH tester to keep that aspect in line too. Get a digital or if you are on a budget the manual indicator tester kits are not too bad. If you can afford it, the blue lab truncheons are known to be a great piece of kit.


Perhaps someone who is a bit more tuned in with this kind of thing will pop into this thread, I am still very much new to all this.
