McCain will never win because of 3 reasons. He's too damn old, he is just not very smart and he has to much of a temper. A POW is not someone that I would want to have there finger on the big nuke button.

There was a problem with the site in the link, and I was not able to see the article or view the list. But this is something that has been in the mainstream news lately as well. There were a few pundits after the VP debate who said they felt Palin did a lot better job of salvaging HER OWN image in the debate than she did helping McCain in the election --- some of them thought she was looking ahead to her own career after McCain loses. And there have been a few stories about McCain's primary rivals, like Huckabee and Romney, weakening their support of McCain, probably looking forward to 2012 as well. Some time back I posted an article about how 25 Republican candidates in Washington state, including the Republican who is running for governor, not listing Republican as their party affiliation! They are Republicans, but they don't want the word next to their names --- not only throwing McCain under the bus, throwing the whole party.
This election has the feeling of a total rout. Republicans don't seem to even be fighting their defeat --- they are breaking ranks, turning on each other, throwing down their weapons, and running for their lives.

People can say what they want to friends, spouses, polls, etc., but in the end they're alone in the voting booth. Ever here of the Bradley effect? That will be playing a factor here and has in the polls. How many states was Clinton suppose to either lose or get blown away in but either come close or won?
Have a good one!:s4:

i think america would have been a lot better off if that nit-wit paris hilton were running the country instead of george bush...bush is the worst president in history so it's not hard to imagine america being better off if carrot top and bobcat goldthwaite were in the white house for the past 8 years
