Smell in Grow Room

There is funky chemical smell in my friends grow room with one dank plant that is budding.
it kinda smells like spray paint...
Are there any health affects of this plant budding right where he sleeps?

If it is the PLANT, then no. If it is CHEMICALS, then yes. Has he sprayed for pests? Rotenone is packaged in some solvent that smells like kerosene. It's not safe.

My guess is VOCs coming from cheaply manufactured materials in the grow room. Might want to do something about that, grow rooms should smell like sweet bud not spray paint.:thumbsup:
