Perfect Example of "Liberal Tolerance"

Just stumbled over this, thought, "wow, how perfect is this?"
In the news recently, libs have been crying (as usual) about the crowds at McCain rallies being loud about their opinions on Nobama. I guess that's news worthy, so why isn't this?

Please, make no mistake, I am not saying that either is "news worthy", but I am getting sick of seeing the liberal elite portraying McCain supporters as "angry white people", and thought that maybe some of the "true believers" here wouldn't believe that people that share their "tolerant ideology" could be just as rotten. So I submit this as evidence to that fact.
BTW, what exactly did these people do to deserve this, these libs in the video aren't attacking McCain, they are attacking the citizens that are exercising their rights to choose and believe what they want. That kind of makes it slightly more rotten if you ask me.:wtf:

Towards the end of the film, there is a caption that says "REPUBLICANS IN NEW YORK: LESS EQUAL THAN OTHERS". Other captions imply that Republicans are not tolerated. Do they not know that we have a Republican mayor who has served for two terms, and is so popular that another election may extend it to a third if a special bill allowing it gets passed? Or that Rudy served for two full Republican mayoral terms, since the early 1990's, immediately prior to Bloomberg?

I don't doubt that that parade got some New York salutes, but I suspect that much of the background booing was doctored on the soundtrack to make it sound much worse. People in the streets of New York City don't even pay attention to these types of events, much less get worked up over them.

To imply that New York City does not care about terrorism, after what happened here, is extremely ignorant and insulting. But, that's to be expected in a video made by a bunch of sore losers.

Now that it's coming down to the wire, they're getting really desperate for support.

Well they're probably portrayed as "angry white people" because... well... that's what they seem to be. Most videos of McCain supporters and rallys show almost no minorities that I can see, along with a few particularly loud people that that yell the "terrorist" and "kill him" lines whenever Obama is mentioned that it's no real surprise that people would think that about McCain supporters.

Tolerance just means putting up with something, it doesn't mean you have to agree with it, or would you rather that everybody agree with you and nobody dissent? After all, those other people in the video are also exercising their rights to choose and believe what they want, the McCain parade wasn't impeded was it? were the McCain supporters attacked? were they pelted with rocks and bottles? did violence erupt and the police have to step in? Not as far as I could see, seems they were as tolerant as angry "libs" could be.

I heard a few despicable shouts of things like "Nazi" but mostly it was a bunch of booing and jeering. Doesn't seem to me like there is much wrong with booing and jeering a parade if you don't agree with what the people in the parade stand for, especially if the parade is held in a neighborhood where it is going to be unpopular.

It's a different story if you organize an event, like a McCain rally, and have the organizers using racist language, and have the supporters at the rally shouting things like "terrorist", "traitor", "Arab", "kill him" and "off with his head."

In the case of a McCain rally, the McCain campaign is responsible for what goes on there --- definitely responsible for their candidate's respsonse to what goes on there. Do they tamp down the hate or fan the flames. In the case of this parade, I don't think you can say the Obama campaign is responsible for the reaction of the crowd to parade that is unpopular in their neighborhood. Obama is not reponsible for policing the reactions of people at events like this parade that McCain organizes. Obama is respnisible for behaviour at his own rallies and events, and I haven't seen any bad behaviour at those.

Seems more to me like this was something the parade organizers knew would be unpopular and provoke a negative reaction. Kind of ridiculous to organize a parade in a neighborhood where your cause is going to be unpopular and then say the people are intolerant when they react negatively by boooing and jeering.

Despite the video's claim, these filthy L-L-L-L-Liberals, unquestionable cause of all America's woes, were not impeding on free speech; they were excercising their own. Nowhere did they say that the McCain supporters had no right to voice their opinion. It's equal rights, people, nothing else. Not equal acceptance, not equal politeness, not equal respectful listening.


I'll still take folk swearing and yelling at a political group for their ideologies, over McCain nuts who do the same but for the colour of Baracks skin and bullshit like "He's an arab terrorist". Didn't see anyone against McCain yelling "cut his fucking head off!"

at least with McCain, we know where he stands because he actually has a
