Dump the res IMMEDIATELY. A cup of epsom salts is way too much (unless your res is the size of a small town water supply cistern) and you may already have caused irreversible damage.
Is this the first time you have run this strain in silica stones, and are these stones designed for growing cannabis in hydro? I am concerned with additional minerals leaching off the medium (acid solutions leach off mineral and metal substances faster than neutral ones) into your ALREADY hard water.
Dumped already with a full clean out and flush of the system.

Yes on the this strain, However I have run it in other strains with excellent results. Here is a link to the product dyna-rok2

I dont have the test results back yet, However I suspect heavy in sulfer as we can smell it once in a while.

I have never grown in dirt, Always hydro, From ebb flo to nft to areo for the last 4 yrs (I still cant believe that! Seems like I started yesterday!)

Just out of curiosity- ask your friend if he/she adds a significant level of organic acids to that system.
I agree! Here is the ppms of the nutes I am using. As I said my Bigbud I have been able to run as high as 1900 with NO TRACE of burn. Yet I once grew WW with it and I couldn't let that go over 1000 PPM

No organic acids
All in PPMS
Bloom 2 Part Both Parts combine for total ppms of:
Macros are

167 Nitrogen
67 Phosphorus
316 Potassium
85 Mag
125 Calcium
127 Sulfur

Micros are

2.3 Fe
.65 Mn
.30 Zn
.65 Boron
.1 Copper
.1 Mo

What is differant exactly in hardwater nutes? Lower FE?
