First grow question
Hey guys been checking the board as a guest and reading up. I just went to Home Depot today and got a starter set up going. I had some seeds from a bag I got in the spring. 1st time I have ever found seed in the stuff I buy. Anyway I read up and soked the seeds for about 15hrs and then put them in a wet paper towel like I had read. I then put them in a in a dark spot for a day and they both popped. Was happy the see they where still good. I hope I didn't go to fast but I put them in Jiffy-7 peat pellet. I put the white (root side) down and covered with just a bit of Miracle-Gro seed starter pottong mix.
My question is should I go ahead and start the light? Would that be to fast or pointless do to the no leaves? I only got one light so far and will go bad tomorrow to beef that up to say 6 lights. The one Light I got is a CFL 23watts, 1600 lumens, 5000K full color spectrum. Oh an the temp is at 81F and 48%RH. Is that to hot? Should I bring it down to say 78F or less?
Thanks guy I have enjoyed readding all your info on the site and look forward to learning more from you.bigworm1922 Reviewed by bigworm1922 on . First grow question
When the leaves break the surface of the soil, then turn on the light. Either 18/6, 20/4 or 24/0 light cycle......your choice.
81 degrees is OK. I use a hand spray bottle the keep the top of soil moist. No nutes first 2-3 weeks and don't keep the soil wet. I hope you added perlite to the soil?...if not...add it to the soil next transplant. Good drainage is critical. So is gentle air flow.
Good luck.

First grow question
Thanks for the help Dutch Pimp. Still in peat so havn't added to soil yet. Perlite will be mixed in when I pot it. I hope everything goes good so I can learn. Then move onto something better. I really don't know what I have yet. I know it was a good smoke and thats all that matters. Right?

First grow question
I have read that the root should be placed facing up as the tap root naturally curves downward as it starts growing. By placing it facing down it causes it to curve up towards the surface and then curving again back down. This (from what I have read) causes slower growth in the initial stage.
IT\'S ALL BULLSHIT!!! Everything I post here is FICTIONAL!!!! I have absolutely no first hand knowledge about growing/smoking/selling cannabis. All information/pictures posted by me have been taken from various places on the internet. I just want people here to think I am COOL!!
