    Yellowish Leaves

You could use Peter's 20-20-20, but like most fertilizers, you would have to start by using 1/4th strength of the recommended water to fertilizer ratio, because fertilizers like this easily cause fertilizer burn. But organic fertilizers in my opinion are the best, because they contain natural unprocessed nutrients. You could use 'Age Old Organics', 'Thrive Alive', bone meal, organic tea fertilizers, guano, etc.

If you only have money for one try one of the many brands that are all in one for grow. Then an all in one for bloom. Only 2 bottles plus Ph up and Down. General Hydroponics, Advances Nutrients all have some you can use.

    Yellowish Leaves

Ok thanks for all the help guys, appreciate it.
I realsied that I have fertiliser in my soil, im using Bio Biz Soil....

Bio-Biz is an extremely high quality fermented organic compost for growers who donâ??t want to mess about adding liquid fertilisers - itâ??s all inside the compost, just add water for fantastic results. Add a bloom fertiliser when plants show signs of heavy flowering. Contains a careful blend of perlite, worm castings, peat, top soil and organic fertilizer.

So why am I getting yellow leaves on a 2 week old plant?... I understand that some leaves will die & drop off but I thought that was in a later stage of growth.

Im using Nirvana Top 44 seeds & 2 weeks since germination they are just 1 1/2 inch high?

Please tell me if this is normal, thanks.

How old is the plant? it looks to me you're worried about the first leaves yellowing. this is normal, over the course of it's life your plant will lose a majority of it's lower leaves.. there's nothing you can or should do about it. It's pretty normal.

You need to distinguish what are.. and are not actual plant problems.
That would of helped from the beggining. From what he described, it was either a mag or nitrogen definciency with no mention of age. A plant can become deficient under any circumstance, including nute lockouts, not just double or triple harvesting or extended life. Plus I need to stop smoking before I post.

I heard you can chop away the yellow stuff to stop spreading.... ok to do this or just leave it natural?

if itâ??s all yellow then it no longer produces chlorophyll and is useless to the plant so you can cut it off.

The plant has used up the nutrients stored as a seedling and now needs to be fertilized. Use 1/4 str and work your way up as the plant gets bigger. The cotlydons are supposed to turn yellow and die out, that's where the energy is stored to get the plant going. It might also be some overwatering since it seems kinda small to be turning yellow already, but the plant might be a heavy feeder.
