no clue on what Im doing

Newbie grower, I have 6 ak-47 under a dual spectrum set up, lights are equiv to 200 watts each (400 tot) res is 8 gal and I started the seeds in rockwool, and hydroton pellets. They took 1 week to sprout and they are doing not to good. It has been 24 days and they had to be trimmed because alot of brown spots popped up , it is still happening , but they also have still continued to grow so the brown spots didnt make me cry yet. The smallest baby is about 4 1/2 inch tallest is 9 1/2 inch , they all started at the same time so I dont know why they grew uneven, I guess that happens. Sounds super foolish but I measured nutes by eye and gave them a 1/4 strength worth. Ph level is around 6.5 from what I heard that is good to go. I want the little ones to catch up but I do not know exactly how to pinch them and where. Basically I would like to know if I am doing good and also what I am doing wrong. I would like to know the best methods to getting a big yield, I have to supply myself with medicine cause the dealers suck ass and swagg is so nasty it makes me want to puke someone help, please. Ohh yeah when should I stop veg and start flowering?

looks like we are in the same sinking ship with no help on the way what do we do?well since i had to do something i removed my girl from the res since her roots werent out of the bottom of the pot.i placed the pot still in the lid over an empty but and just started to give her water to see if it was a reaction to nutes i dont know how far along you are.and you want her to dry then slowly water over and over.just dont let her stay dry for too long im checking my baby hourly sometimes more.its my first time and i dont want my baby to die so im going to keep doing this until i see roots or we receive some help.

I check them very often I also have let the drip system keep working its magic but I do unplug every once in a while just in case to many nutes. I really dont know if it is root rot because I heard that micro changes the color of the root sometimes but the root did feel alittle slimly. I also heard that root rot spreads very quickly, it has yet to spread. I also thought it might be a lack of airbubbles so I centered the bubble blower, my roots are kinda big they are already in the res.

what kind of hydro are u running....dwc or what?

and perhaps lower the ph and bit more to 6...although u need to be more concerned about getting the roots to pop out first

id still try lowering ur ph closer to 5.8-6.0 range but my first instinct would be that ur rockwool is getting too wet and not allowing the roots to get enough air

and if the roots are sitting in the water u should get an airstone or something

I have the airstone but I noticed that it flipped upside down so I fxed it but I have not noticed any change in the roots, as for the rockwool I unplug every oncee in a while so the rockwool dries a bit. Do u know how to pinch and supercrop?

If you're going to try to pinch or supercrop, you at least need to figure out the basics. That would be like asking how to do a tail whip before even learning how to ride a bike.

Shoot for an average pH of 5.7, and don't let it go higher than 5.9 or lower than 5.4. As for the rest if you don't even know the basics of even what kind of hydro system you are using, its going to be hard to get any help. You should go to the Plant Problems forum and FILL OUT A FORM and try to get some pictures if you want some real help.

sorry it took so long to get back I was busy but I flushed with reg tap water ph is 5.5-5.7 and I do have DWC system with a dual spectrum set up, lights are equiv to 200 watts each (400 tot) res is 8 gal. The babies ar rather large smallest is 10 in and the largest is 1 1/2 ft. should I start flower period ? The smallest has not really started to spread it looks like it is mostly stretching right now. I will add some pics later my camera is not that good so I will do what i can. But from what I can tell I have rode the bike pretty well so maybe its time to tail whip. lol
