no clue on what Im doing
OKay here is the update I topped to get them all to about 10" I was scared as hell being I barely know what I am doing(no dr. greenthumb):i feel stupid:. I made sure the ph was good to go and they are still on grow nutes that I just put in yesterday, I raised the lights to about 2' above the tops because I am using the reflector blanket and I did not want the babies to get too hot. I also ghetto rigged my fan to blow on the lights and move the air thru the leaves hopefully that works to keep the temp down and provide air flow. I keep the closet open most of the time so they should be okay. I have now set the timer 4 12/12. Oh i also trimmed the huge fan leaves I hope that was okay to do
, also for a test run I took 2 tops and basically put them in a flower pot with soil and water that came out the res which had grow nutes lets see if that works for clones. They are right ontop of the res to get light with the rest of the babies. Herbie I will try to get some pics for u soon okay:thumbsup:.

I am a little worried about you blow the air over the lights and then onto the leaves. That will heat them instead of cool them (effictively that is how a heater works, fan blows air over a heat source).
Also, you shouldn't trim the fan leaves, they are critical to collecting light and producing energy. It's done, so ok, but don't do that in the future.
Next, do a search on some instructions to clone.

Okay I will most def have to get pics 4 u but I will explain best I can. The fan is a big square fan and the air hits lights and babies at the same time and the space they r in is open most of the time so the air is flowing in the whole room but I do understand what ur sayin about the hot air, sadly i have to get a thermometer because the space tends to get rather cold and stay cold, so I dont worry to much about heat damage from the lights because it gets rather cold in the space where they r (Sometimes I have to turn on a space heater). I must say they r looking rather nice even though I hacked off the fan leaves(not all of them). Even the runt is showing more growth as far as new leaves. I know patience is key but I was so anxious to top and go 12/12, but now I feel like damn I should have waited for u to coach me a little better.Clones wilted so that experiment failed next time will try when prepared. But at least the babies r still okay.

Don't worry, you're doing fine. Your flowering plants are going to thrive. Next time you are ready to do clones you just need to review the steps first, there are lot of great guides to cloning that I won't repeat them here, but if you read one and have questions then I can fill you in.

thanks I checked on the babies and the ph was 6.4-6.5 the are looking nice but the yellow colar in the new leave are worrying me a bit. I do have to be happy that I am a lucky dude cause they look real stressed but yet looking good, if I am correct the yellow color might be due to lack of nitrogen or magnesium? I do have grow nutes in res have dwc on constant drip, but I feel if I keep checking they will be okay. As for the cloning I will doe research. Promise to charge batts on cam and take shots.

Yeah, before I diagnose the yellow color, I'd like to see some pics. It could be totally innoculous. It could be a deficiency, or it could be root rot preventing the uptake. Not to say that any of those are the case but a guess without a picture is a total shot in the dark.

I will take some with the blackberry and post soon.

They still have been having some small progress it has almost been a month since 12/12 so I just have to be patient I guess, thats one thing I am not good at though. The yellowing has gotten a little better and they have pretty much straightened themselves out so lets see what happens in a few days I been slackin on the pics sorry but I will get them.
