Caregiver cant be found

Hey guys,I got a small problem and maybe some of you have had this experience,I met this guy,and he is a medical MJ patient and we went to my doctors and transfered the cards so that he will have it growing for me.
So,He messages me that how their doing and stuff and he tells me their gonna be ready in the middle of october.
So I PM him asking him if he can let me know what day would be best,since I have shipped my cars to Oregon and have to depend on my families cars....and he doesnt PM me back,So I wait a few days and text him,I get nothing,So I start calling him and he doesnt answer,I havent given any moneyto him,.....I mean I have the funds set aside for him,But he aint getting back to me.
Has this happened to anyone before, and what do you do?
Drive to the grow site? I dont wanna do that.....unless I have no other choice.
