you mean clipped off and slow dried buds from a plant that you still have growing? it would be hard to properly slow dry some buds and still have the plant flowering. slow drying and curing takes a month or so.

you'll want to give your plants a flush of plain tap water to leech out whats in the soil.

how much longer do they have to flower? don't give any ferts for the last two weeks, and then after you harvest and dry, you'll want to cure the buds. that amounts to putting them into a glass jar for several weeks, opening once daily to replace the air. this helps break down the chlorophyl in the leaves and redistribute the remaining moisture evenly throughout the buds.

Try water curing it. That helped A LOT with my nasty tasting bud. Other then that, flush it and don't use nutrients for the last 2 weeks I think it is. (haven't had a fully succesfull grow yet) Hope that helps.

-edit- Oh great, maybe I should take so damn long when I post.

Yeah, stop feeding 2 weeks before harvest and go to plain tap water at correct pH.
The plant will use up its stored N, chlorophyll will break down, and the harshness will give way to a better pot flavor.
Water curing is a last resort for emergencies- don't subject your nice well-grown buds to it.
