    First grow ever

    I am starting my very first grow, I germinated 1 White Widow feminized seed from cannabisseeds.com and one from some female schwag I had. Both sprouted fast while using the moist paper towel method. I germinated the seeds about a week ago. My equipment is as follows:

    * 2 - GE 26 watt 6500K daylight bulbs
    * 1 - GE 20 watt 6500K daylight bulb
    * 2 - GE 13 watt 2700K bulbs (when I need to flower)
    * 2 - plant 5 gallon reservoir
    * 1 - Advanced Nutrients Grow-Bloom-Micro 1L's
    * 1 - 5 gallon aquarium pump and air stone
    * 2 - rockwool cubes
    * 1 - bag of Hydroton pebbles

    I need to know if I am on the right track or not as this is my first grow, some guidance would be nice. The White Widow plant seems to be turning yellow, I haven't fed it anything except SuperThrive and at very small amounts. Right now it's just sitting in reverse osmosis water at 6.0 pH. Any questions, suggestions, criticism or comments are welcome.

    Wow, i wish you a great grow. You seem to have your lighting under control, but i feel that some people are going to tell you to go with a HPS for flower. As for the yellowing its hard to say without a picture, how much is very little nutes? Is the leaf curling at all? Criticism - only thing would be no pictures, but hey we all have visual minds and thinking never hurt anybody.

    I gave them about 1mL of SuperThrive but I flushed it all out a few days ago. Leaves are curling downward. Finally was able to get pictures:

    Thanks for the feedback, doogle I appreciate it.

    Plants are somewhat growing. I feel stupid I had the water level way too high, enough to where the roots don't grow out of the rockwool cube. Lowered the water level and now the roots are starting to grow out. Also, the water had algae growing so I took the plants out and bleached the 5 gallon again. I haven't been feeding them anything, third week is next week. The weird items you see are for holding the cheap paper I constructed to stop the light from hitting the water, stopping the growth of algae. I am open to any suggestions and questions

    No nutes are necessary at this point. Wait until there are 3 pairs of leaves and then start your seedling/cutting dose feed. They will be fine on plain ph'd water for right now. Superthrive is fine to help encourage rooting.

    The plants seem to be doing okay so far, primarily the White Widow. The bagseed plant seems to not want to establish its root structure but the White Widow's are doing fine. Haven't fed them anything but they look a bit small for being about 2-3 weeks old. Checking the pH every few days and it's at about 6.0. The first TDS meter only went from 0-1000 so that was a waste of money, no worries though I have another one coming in that has a larger range. Tell me what you all think.

    Am I going in the right direction?

    hey and welcome

    i'd say you're on the right track but you need to do some serious reading.
    through the FAQ's and through the different threads.

    what i can see right off is that you have your lights too close to those
    seedlings, at that early stage, they need very little light.

    read through my garden and some of your questions will be answered,
    maybe even some you haven't asked yet, and maybe, you'll be
    inspired to try something new.

    anyway, good luck, there's no bud so sweet as the one you grow for
    yourself

    3rd week vegetating. Gave about 1/4 of nutes and the plant seems to like it. PPM is around 30-40. pH is at 6.0. Not sure what the temperature is but it is not hot, plus I got a fan on it. I believe it's showing preflowers. Should I switch the light cycle? Roots are long and healthy.
