Gnat problem? lil help plz :) Hey everybody me and my roomie are on our first grow and we decided to start off with some bagseed just so we wouldnt ruin our awesome nug seeds haha (Joey's NLxC99 seeds :D). But now that the plants are probably around 2.5 weeks old or so I have started to notice lots of little gnats fluttering around in the soil of the pots and some are flying around in the grow room and I was really wondering if anybody knew what they were or if they are detrimental to the plants. I really dont like them Rating: 5

indeed GT, thank you so much! hate to keep bugging you, but will the tobacco juice mess with the pH? my friend grows 2x4 ScrOG under CFLs, with soil as his medium.

Gnat problem? lil help plz :)
We had a bad case of fungus gnats at my friends because he didnt like to empty the catch trays. One day a little spider moved in and set up a web. Within a week the gnats were gone. Of course keeping it dry is the real answer, but I just wanted to tell you guys about the spider.

bought the 'No-Pest' strips in the first place.
(thank you Opie Yutts for the tip)
i hung one in my flower room 2 months ago, since then, no fly's, no mites.
heres a link to Amazon.com although they're not the only place that sells them.
Amazon.com: no pest strip
