Looks okay today i think. Not much going on. maybe its cause i broke off that top? Looks like the LST is going alright ill add a pic in a few minutes

First CFL Grow (Help Appreciated) Pics Included Well after reading for months, I decided that the CFL Method would probally be the easier and Cheapest way to go. My Setup as is Follow 4 - 26w CFLs 1 - 62w CFL 180w @ 12000- 12500 Lumens 1:1 Ration or Cool to Warm I have Most of the lighting no more than 8 inches away from the New Plant. The seed is just from a Good sack that i purchased from a good man. Nothing like WHITE widow or anything crazy but good High high Mid Bud. Its in a Gun Case(L=3ft W=2ft H= 6ft) with glass sliding Rating: 5

if you broke off the actual top of the plant, you "topped" it. now growth will slow for a bit but you'll now have two colas (main tops). this is a good thing. you can continue to top the main colas and end up with probably 4-8.

are the leaves spost to be like this when i LST? They are curling in all kinds of fucked up ways?this normal gg84? And damn for this little, this thing sure does put off sum smell! like a bunk ass homegrown smell :weedpoke:

K im bout to move the operation to the garage. My 22nd birthday is coming up so might have people over, so i dont want them to see this. This is pics to my soon to be Grow Box. Might i add its much bigger! The dimensions are 6Ft High x 4Ft Length x 2Ft Width. I added 2x's 3inch PVC for "Passive:" intake. On left and right bottom

**Now is PAssive intake NO FANS suckin In? On the Top i plan to "Get" a inline exhaust fan but if not i am gonna cut 4 holes with 4 CPU fans for Exhaust.

***Now will this pvc turned at a angle trap the light from escaping from the bottom or am i gonna have to make it a sharper Angle?

**** Okay i live in a frezzin ass cold place. I plan to insulate the box. Sumtimes it does get below 0 do you think with a small space heater this will keep it warm enought when the lights are off?

*Plz any suggestions to the cold would be GREATLY appreciated. And answer to all questions would be Cool:thumbsup:

good lookin grow. im doin a micro grow. my box is like 4 feet wide foot and a half deep and about two and a half feet tall. but i am planning on doin somethin like your box your buildin. hope your baby turns out good.

no, that leaf curl isn't normal. i'd check the plant problems area on the forums. maybe start a new thread and fill out the troubleshooting form. love the grow box! now as for the freezing temps, i'd pick up some reflective insulation. its like bubblewrap covered in a mylar-like film. you can see it in my pic of my lights. that with a small space heater should keep it good. yes passive intake is no fans in, all fans out. and yes the pvc pipe will need a sharper angle. keep it up, sorry for not posting for a while.

I did sum looking on the curling. Sumone says it is in genetics. Thx for all your help. Here is a few updates on the plants. Seem to look okay. I can notice new shoots all over the plant. The spot where i topped is growing back with 2 more shoots. Anyways ill get another pvc and angle that more. And i will be looking for mylar insulation. Also Do u think that if i use regular insulation and staple that Mylar blanket that will be the same? And im thinking of adding another 100-150 watts of cfls once i move to the Garage. Also i seen 4ft Flouro reflectors and ballast at habitat for humanity with bulbs in them for only 9.99. Should i Probally pick 2 of theese up?
