Pre- Harvest question
Is it possible to harvest the main cola then harvest the other say a week later... properly dryed/cured the main cola would be just as potent as the others, but i'm thinking that the others would plump up a bit more right before harvest...

Pre- Harvest question
Yes you can do that, you can harvest sections as they ripen which will let more light penetrate the lower buds which should get a bit fatter.

Pre- Harvest question
agree'd, i read up a bit in my book (that's the joys of having one). THC is clear, the more reddish/brown hairs you have.. the sooner you better harvest, the outter glands are the last to change colour, so if there's alot of reddish/brown hairs on the outter part of the bud.. the THC% will be lower but the CBN% will be higher..
I think i'm harvesting sooner than i think..
Enjoy the pics
p.s another reason i wanna harvest the main cola is because it's now leaning on the wiring to my lights ... as you can see.. the gillette can looks small in comparisonAs we live...a life of ease. Everyone of us...has all we need. Sky of Blue...and Sea of Green. In our Yellow Submarine.

Pre- Harvest question
I think you're a little confused, don't look at the hairs to guess harvest time, look at the trichromes. Clear trichs have high THC content, when those turn opaque some of the THC is breaking down into other cannabinoids, then they will turn a reddish amber color.
I think you did harvest that cola a bit early but that's okay cause you got more to come. I would judge by trich color along with how developed the calyx looks. As the plant ripens the hairs (I'm talking about pistils not trichs here) not only turn orange or red, but they withdraw back into the calyx and the calyxes will look swollen, the hairs will look a lot shorter.
Look at this picture of AK 47 (the pic is kinda small) from Seedsdirect:
http://www.seedsdirect.to/?page=shop...491f380f09d91&
You see how it doesn't look so hairy, more bulbousy. That's cause the calyxes are swollen and the hairs have withdrawn a bit.

Pre- Harvest question
Although it may not look it, there's actually quite a few witherd pistils on the cola. a large majority have begun to go slighty orangish/pink... a few are dark orange. and some are still ever so slightly green. The temp around the top of the plant (because of the lights) was alot higher, and i really would rather risk having just slightly under ripe bud.. than over ripe bud.. the line can be very fine between..just right and to late.
during the drying a slight curing takes place.. and there are slow dry methods that will cure it even more...
some will say to early.. in my opinion and due to circumstances.. i decided to harvest part of the plant. As we live...a life of ease. Everyone of us...has all we need. Sky of Blue...and Sea of Green. In our Yellow Submarine.
