Caught by campus police

About a month ago, I was caught by campus police with a packed bowl in my pocket, probably half to 1/3 of a gram. The cop took down our information and confiscated my bowl and weed. He never put us in handcuffs, read us our Miranda rights nor did he turn on his lights. He then told us we would get a letter in the mail 4-5 weeks later stating there is a warrant out for our arrest and to go turn ourselves in and they would take us to the court house. I've asked quite a few people and they think the cop was just scaring us and we'll never get a letter in the mail. Have any of you had this happen to you? Im just kinda nervous because I dont know whats gonna happen.


P.S. Could I still smoke up until I get a letter in the mail?

dude did you by any chance go to WMU? that is literally the exact situation i was in and YES you will most likely get a letter in the mail. you might not, but pretend like you will. i got mine 4 effing months later from the WMU campus police and it went down just like you said

and yea you can smoke, but once you get that letter, turn yourself in quick and clean that system out buddy. plead 7411 and get manditory 6 month probation if its your first offence(and im not talking about tickets and such)

take it from me. they do send the letter like %80-%90 percent of the time. courts make maaaad money from campus drug busting cause its so damn easy. its like free money to them. and i had about the same amount you did man. shake in the corner of a bag. im just so pissed at myself for not eating it

who knows, if you dont live in michigan you might have a chance of just facing the fine and no probation and that still sucks but its so much better than pissing for a dude you dont know every month and having him tell you the "correct" way to live your life and not ebing able to say no

im crossin my fingers for ya tho man. i used to hate cops anyway, but now when i smell pigs i get some wierd tribal, Lord of the Flies ideas and shit haha. viva la marijuana!!!

[oh and ps if you get probation, jsut fucking do it man. believe me you hate yourself for violating. i have court on thurs for violation and i have no idea what im in for, but i could have just stopped then and gotten it done and been smoking again by now]

HAHAHAHA I actually am a freshman at Western, bro. Im a big guy so cleaning out my system might be a little more difficult than some other kid. How do I clean out my system?

by that i mean just lay off the herb. at least cut back to once a week and then maybe like to once every two weeks or so if you can do it, cause once you get that letter you wanna be able to piss clean as soon as you can. im serious tho. it may seem like the most unjust thing in the world(at least to me it did) but you just have to take it man. sucks balls, but the sooner you get done, the sooner you get that monkey off you back and then you can enjoy your smoke without worrying if people will know you did it

but when all that shit goes down(if it does, who knows) PM me and let me know your P.O and i might be able to help you smoke through your probation and pass clean every time

dont stress now tho. take a week and get mad high and then start a plan on cutting back. fuck those who tell you not to stop and keep handing you weed. at the time it seems like it wont matter anyway but the less you smoke the quicker it leaves your system and thats comforting to know

Reminds me of the time I was in a grocery store and a cop came up to me and all my friends, asking us individually why all of our eyes are so red.. I replied, I have allergies.. Than my friend rolls up and he asks the same question. " I have allergies.."

Finally, my last buddy rolls up blazed and guess what he said..

Fuck probation, community service, and drug classes. When i got caught 3 years ago (freak occurrence i might add) I had two choices. Six months unsupervised probation, 120 hours community service, and 4 drug classes ($750); which would have cost over $1300 plus a $2,000 lawyer fee to get you this so called "deal", or i could just serve jail time.

I told my lawyer i would give him $500, and he would arrange for me to do jail time. Since it was my first and only offense, he sentenced me to 10 days, of which i only had to serve 5. I served it during spring breakimp:
