Both sides are puppets anyway. Right now I'm thinking no matter who gets elected, we're still going to be fucked.
Especially in the economy.

ok guys, i know im new an all and i dont really know you guys too well yet so dont flame this, but why do you guys care about this election? i mean ive gotten bad vibes from both of these decievers since their nominations. cant you see the big picture is that perpetuating this style of democracy, in which the candidates have this kind of superstar status as we hang on their words every debate waiting to hear what THEYRE going to do for our country as if somehow their little podium and rhetoric gives them more power than the other 303+ million of us? we're waiving our most important rights by sitting back and watching this like a form of entertainment
even people with my opinion that both candidates suck are still like "oh no were effed!"
hell i know for sure i could beat up an old dude by myself, and probably obama if i had a) a large stick or b) a couple friends
now think about thousands of us with guns against these select and suited few. why in the world would we ever invest so much trust into one man and then pretend that once either is elected that the situation is somehow "out of our hands?"
its not about these petty arguements or their own personal little plans for america, but the biggest of pictures that we are all supposed to be guiding america into together. plus were intelligent enough to know that policy change doesnt do shit for the way we think and live, only lifestyle change has meaningful and long-lasting effects on the direction of this giant ship we're steering. policy is like loading up our giant ship with more and more ammunition. sure, it makes us feel more secure, but in the long run the weight of it all just slows us down

Well, like you say, we will see in November. I am predicting a decisive Obama victory!

At least in the debate hall, they will not take well to cheiwing and pooping, so if McCain goes that route, and Obama stays above the fray and keeps focused on the economy, Obama will do well with them.
Of course the larger audience on TV might react differently, but I still do not think McCaion's negative style he has been using lately will make a difference in his favor. It might just hurt him more.
