First Post, First Grow, 2nd week!

    Heyyyy

so i just recently started my very first grow after reading and soaking up as much info as possible from the web. What i have is a pictorial, although i dont know how much can be learned from it, since it IS my first time growing anything besides a potato.

Anyways.... i started this whole "pictorial" to document exactly what i'm doing and so i can figure out exactly whats happening to the plants and how fast they are growing. I didnt start documenting until about day 9 of my grow but i figured someone might be able to learn from my mistakes and hopefully i may get some help from some of you master growers. So, hopefully you guys will like what ill share.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Day 9

Seedlings at day 9. Temperature has been a stable 80 degrees F. Watered all of them around 9am, basically just soaked all the dirt all the way through until the water was dripping quickly from the bottom.
Seedlings have shown tremendous growth within the past 24 hours, I would say something of around 2 â?? 4mm. Leaves on plants 1 â?? 4 have begun to stretch out into branches and their second set of leaves are forming much more quickly than the first pair.

    Day 10
Seedlings at day 10 from germination.

None of the potted plants needed watering, the soil was moist a few cmâ??s down so I just went ahead and misted the foliage and the top dirt with a very dilute mix of Fish fertilizer. Since this was the first time using any fertilizer on any of the plants, I used (this is an estimation) about ½ teaspoon in a gallon of water (the recommended was about 1 tablespoon per quart).

Oh the info you get by reading and watching movies is plenty if you just learn from it.
My grow (link in sig) is also my first growing anything and it turned out really nice I have to say. Just soak up as much as you can from around the net and you will have a good base and mistaces will be much fewer.

    Good luck m8.

    Day 11

Plants seemed a bit weightless and dry this morning, so I gave them their first full nutrient rich breakfast. I mixed about ½ tablespoon of Fish Fertilizer with a gallon of water and I completely soaked all of the plants with it, so hopefully their growth will start to explode. I also added a small amount of Organic Blood Meal to plants 1-4. Not quite sure if its gonna be too much N, so only tested on half of them.

You might want to check out a different soil for when you transplant. If you can't find or afford fox farm ocean forest then the patio plus organic from the regular stores works nice for flowers. I've got a seed crop of basil growing in it right now and the flowers look amazing. :thumbsup
