Well all that is fine and dandy, but up in an attic I doubt odor would be an issue. Your issue is heat on a sunny day, temps could go well over 140 degrees. Even with a good, and I mean really good attic fan you will be lucky to stay within 20 degrees of outdoor temps. It can go well over 160 in an attic on a sunny day. I suggest you reconsider.
WashougalWonder Reviewed by WashougalWonder on . attic grow ventilation idea I'm a newbie and am beginning an attic grow. One of my biggest concerns is ventilation for both heat and odor. My plan is to run a 400 watt ventable light. I've so far sealed off the section I will be growing in and have a roof vent real close to my ceiling. So my idea is; to run a carbon scrubber, inline fan, ventilated hood all ducted together to exit out the roof vent. Thinking that this will solve both heat and odor problems. The part I'm not sure on how to make work the best is Rating: 5
