It's an interesting theory to say the least, and I think it is pretty true. Now I see the buds growing a little upwards, but mostly getting fat and icy. Just how I like my women ... lol! i kid i kid. But in all honesty it's kind of nice because I can pretty confidently raise my lights and leave them there while I'm gone without worrying about 2-3" growth everyday ya know?

killa - about the hempy buckets:
1) I saw you have used up to 11L buckets and also used just like a coffee bucket size too. What dictates the size of the buckets? It seems like they are much smaller then soil buckets.
2) What sort of nutes do you end up using?
3) What do you start your seeds/ clones in?

If you have any links to more info on those buckets I'd love to see it.

Alright, I'll post some pictures later on, I gotta take a f-ing nap first haha.

Peace all!
the size difference in buckets usually has to do with the veg that i give the plants....since from my experience plants usually dont grow many roots during flowering....so the size of the buckets usually has to do with my veg period....i run the 32 oz bottles with a very short veg....they never get rootbound even with close to a 2 week veg....the coffee containers i will run up to 30 days of veg....and the 11 lts anything more than 30 days of veg.....i think the sizes are almost perfect for the period of veg....and all the sizes and time periods have never shown any plant being rootbound....

Nutes....I strictly run fox farm HYDRO nutes...the whole line up...grow big hydro, tiger bloom, big bloom, open seseme, bestie bloom, and cha ching..

And i start all my seeds and clones in jiffy pellets but you can use straight perlite or the perlite/verm combo i use...

In my mixed female log....me and dooobster go over pretty detailed directions on hempy buckets.....unfortunatly the origanal method was post by a HG420 member Hempy and that site is no longer up! Any further questions feel free to ask!
