Are they female?

This is my first grow and i am using aerogardens as a base. I have a cabinet in the making for light sealing and bigger better grow space, it's just been difficult to get everything together and have a working car at the same time...

I have 2 plants a goin. 1 has been 12/12 for 6 days, the other i have on a 16/8 because i'm using an aerogarden and it's leaking light onto my other garden so i'm sacrificing my 2nd garden a little to protect my primary garden.

Both of the plants have started showing what i'm pretty sure to be preflowers but i'd like some second opinions.

Below are pictures of the 12/12 under a 150w HPS (hence the yellow/orangish glow).

I Really think my plant that is in 16/8 is female. Those long canoe like preflowers are pretty...canoe like. But my flowering one is scaring me...

There are definetly no signs of hairs coming out of any preflowers.

Tough to tell.. The ones in the top picture look like little crab claws to me though, which would make it a male.
Hope I'm wrong!

one of the pictures of the 12/12 is of one branch and 2 are of another. One of the branches has the claw like preflowers, but the other doesn't. And unfortunetly, because i couldn't get my cabinet built in time, i'm really expecting a hermie anyways unless i'm making too big a deal about the light pollution.
