The Digit is slightly more accurate- 1.5 vs. 5 degrees C plus/minus. You get auto shutoff and the display but lose a year's warranty. Functionally, there's no real difference. You won't get more or better vapor. It wouldn't be worth an additional $130 for me, especially with the lesser warranty-more complicated=more to go wrong. You'll have to decide if the extra features are worth it to you.

Now i want to figure out if its worth it to pay the $670 for the digital volcano instead of the 540$ for the dial one.
