Cold weather hydro
Hi there - I'm about to start a new grow from seed, and I live in a place where the temps get pretty cold (though not usually freezing) at night...I have an adjustable aquarium heater, and prefer to keep lights on during the day...if I keep the heater on steady temps all night, will my plants survive at night even if it gets really cold? Will they grow poorly if the water they're feeding off of is a perfect temperature BUT their exterior environment is frosty at night?
OR - should I just play it safe and keep them on light during the evening, and in dark during the day (when the environment in my grow space is naturally warmer)?
best
