Ok, I'm wanting to do an outdoor grow. I'm looking for somewhere where water is plentiful and just about automatic, great lighting, and with visits/ site maintience kept to a minimum (don't we all). I'm still a noob that has had this idea doing circles in my mind as of late...

Now, I reside in 'the valley' so mountainous area with trees aren't anywhere near me, but there are plenty of agriculture fields. I'll use corn as an example. At first I had an idea of germinating seeds then preping soil and using a cornfield but the grow time of corn was so much shorter and the height problem may play a factor when my weeds get too tall.

But I came across some strains of "Lowryder" which are ready to harvest from seed in about 60-70 days and grow to a max. of two and half feet in height. Now since this corn is harvested about 80-90 days after being planted and Lowryder being able to grow so short and discrete, would this idea work??

Pros are: Totally hidden from view, automatic water, low root competition, and located in the middle of no where in say 50 acres.
Cons: Soil maybe?


Of course I'd rather have one of those guerilla grows in some woods with big plants but an hour and half drive often won't cut it.
