New to marijuana...
Quack-how is it going and are you having any relief??
Vapes' do appear to use more herb. However, I know a person that use's 30% less overall due to switching to vapes! I personally could care less about the high, I get high from decrease in pain alone!!! However, there are tricks you can use to utilize the vape to the fullest value for your money in herb! The ones you fill the bags with are nice, and the bag makes a nice backing bag for a chicken & veges when you are done with that one. However, one that heats up and you can place your mixture and tubes on WHEN you are about to medicate keeps the whole amt from being 'used' and you can use it many times. You will become accustom to the taste and feeling of when it is spent. Works fast and smooth! You do not have to spend hundreds for them. Go on Ebay and order one there. I went to a head shop and checked them all out, curiosity. I have noticed in the past few months they have been changing a bit, and I think I'd hold the big bucks back for what is ultimately what you prefer--even if it is the cheap one-results will be what you are looking for and buy from. It is too bad we can't have 'toy' parties like sex toy parties and get familiar with all that is available to us. Due to the stigma related to mmj, it is a shame that people have to learn how to be safe and use safely with the cloud of shame & fear over everyone's heads!
I had a migraine one time before I was vaping, not a bad one and we tried a mixture of Blueberry and Lavendar Soma: Another time, Lavendar crossed with kush! Both were full body experience's and very good for spinal-nerve and muscle problems. I don't remember what happened with the headache. Which is why they are telling you, stay with lighter stuff and find the right one or mixture for yourself. The other thing is, take a dose and wait to see effects prior to second dose. Get to know what it takes and doesn't. Stop when you know you have the amount you know works. Or keep on if you like the higher feeling and it doesn't adversely effect you in another way (I haven't heard of any yet). You don't have to smoke an entire bowl or bong full before stopping.
I have found, more than anything else in the world--EDIBLES are working the best for just about everything. I wake up with less pain in the A.M. and it gets me going better. I've had migraine's that last up to 6 mos or so. My guess is--try some edibles. The hard candy to suck on is really good (lollipop). Cupcakes, extrodinary! You do not get that 'high' feeling but you FEEL GOOD! Only someone that suffers with a lot of pain would really understand that. And it took me many months to really come to that conclusion!
Remember, some will stay in your system and you don't need as much medication as time goes one. As the months and years go on, you will need to take a break from the herb to lower your threshold for its' effect!
My only other advice would be edibles. You seem to have found the outlets. There are 2 in the Inland Empire that sell edibles that I am aware of and this is the one that I've tried: Human Kindness Center: (951) 654-2272. It is delivery (due to Inland Empire) but I think you would be kindly impressed at the relief you will experience!
I have recently discovered, now that I have been medicatine on a fairly regular basis for months that I tend to need a little sativa with what I use to give me energy. As the Indica tends to make me lazy (not my normal self) and I like the energy. Just enough, not too much, or you can overdo and make your physical problems worse (if you have other medical problems-back, or whatever).
Please check back and let us know how it is going. I am very `curious as to type of herb and your results? I am sure others are as well. And, I am starting to keep a list for my future reference! I doubt spending much time on a PC helps your migraine either! :rastasmoke: GL :hippy:
