I agree with Painretreat. Vaporiser is the best/least harmful.

Northern lights would be a great strain to start off with. It's mildly sedative, has great pain relieving properties, and has only slight (sometimes none at all) visuals.

Stay away from hazes for now as they can be very intense, introspective, and sometimes dark for beginners. Kushes might be good, but again, they might be a bit too much for you to start off with.
