Sun Blaze T5 High Output Fluorescent Grow Light 4ft 8 Lamp
It should work great. I would mount it horizontal. You'll have to start flowering the plants early because of your height limitations,so the quantity won't be high. A regular fan should work good. 8 plants might be pushing it a little but its worth a try. I've had good luck with T5's.

Sun Blaze T5 High Output Fluorescent Grow Light 4ft 8 Lamp Hi, I just purchase this lamp...I think it will be good for my grow space because of 2 things : 1- I can save some space (4 foot ceiling), the lamp is just about 3 inchs high, and I can put the lamp very close to the plants because it produce way less heat thant an HIV lamp...I'm thinking about installed it vertically, will it be less effective than honrizontally ? Also, I've decided to put only warm fluorescent to boost the flowering stage, can I use this lamp for vegetative grow also ? Rating: 5
